Not the quietest campground. Could hear the traffic from the freeway and trains. Our site was kind of weird, being the one of only two in the row and at the end. I didn’t get a good photo of our site, but did get one of the premium site across the road, which had a nice view of the lake. If we come back, I would get one of those sites. Some of the sites would take a little more work to get your RV level. They were also dirt, so if it rains, you’re going to get some mud.
The location was great, however – allowing us to visit Hilton Head Island . We loved that area and would definitely love to come back. It reminded us of visiting Hawaii. We checked out some of the campgrounds that were located in Hilton Head and did not find any that we would be comfortable driving our large rig in. The drive from Camp Lake Jasper is only about 30 minutes.
